Approach:
I feel it’s vital to work in a way that’s best for you, so I tailor my approach to each client. That said, I tend to think of people psychodynamically—basically, as products of our past experiences and patterns. My preferred treatment methods include internal family systems therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and EMDR. My goal is to help you gain the insight and skills to tackle life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.

Sometimes life sucks.
Whether you’re dealing with work or relationship stress, the lasting effects of trauma, or mental illness, there are times we all need somebody to talk to - someone to help us find balance.
Maybe you…
Have a history of trauma, emotional or physical abuse, or neglect
Want to overcome or cope with your anxiety, depression, bipolar, or other diagnosis
Need help discovering (or rediscovering) who you are and what you want from life
Feel shame, not good enough, or underserving of happiness
Find yourself stuck or repeating the same old patterns and don’t know why
Maybe you just need a compassionate and objective ear, new skills, or fresh insight.
You’ve got this.
We’ve got this.
So, let’s get started!
Who I help:
I work with teens and adults experiencing personal or relationship stress, anxiety or mood disorders, as well as survivors of emotional, psychological, and physical abuse or childhood and religious traumas (C-PTSD). I have good rapport with teens and young adults, know firsthand the stressors educators face, and also specialize in working with affectional and gender minorities.
How I help:
My purpose is to truly see and understand you and your experiences. Then we can work together to help you build a life of contentment and meaning in line with your personal goals, beliefs, and values. I feel it’s important to address the root causes of distress rather than settle for a superficial, temporary fix, but I’ll never push you further than you’re ready and willing to go.
What my clients say about working with me:
Clients describe me as very easy to talk to and say I make them feel cared for, understood, and appreciated for everything they are.
Off the Clock:
My favorite things are hiking and off-roading in the Mountain West, landscape photography, music, singing, documentaries, college football, food, travel, and sitcom reruns, to name a few.
Fun Fact:
I used to be a professional actor and singer.
