I will typically start with understanding you and your needs, and meeting you where you are. Some of the first sessions start with teaching you how to understand your thoughts and feelings and how they affect your behavior. Every session may look a little different, whether it is discussing your current situation, or dealing with past trauma and family issues. You are the author of your own life, and you direct where we go in therapy, I’m just your facilitator.

Life feels so incredibly hard.

Every day it feels like there is another bad thing happening, either in the news or in your own personal life. It feels like you can’t control anything.

Maybe…

It feels like you can’t ever catch your breath because your anxiety is overwhelming.

The thoughts never seem to stop.

You worry constantly, about anything and everything.

There are day when it is hard to get out of bed, and to function like a ‘normal’ person.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Your anxiety and depression doesn’t have to control your life.

Life doesn’t have to be a struggle anymore.

You can learn how to manage your anxiety and depression, so that you are in control. You can feel confident and hopeful again.

Let me help you discover who you want to be.

I come alongside you to help you process through the situations you have experienced, and identify the emotions that came with it, so that you can come to an understanding of what is going on. We then work together to identify goals and develop a plan for moving forward.

I am here to help. You have come to the right place, so let’s get started.

Who I help:

I help women who are struggling with relationships issues, anxiety, depression and trauma.

How I help:

I help you figure out ways to deal with your anxiety and depression to live a more fulfilled life.

What my clients say about working with me:

My clients have said that I am a real person, who gets it. They often say they enjoy that I validate their emotions, as well as challenge them. They also say that I am open minded and genuine and they can tell that I care about them, which is true, I do care about my clients.

Off the Clock:

I love to get lost in a book or a show on Netflix. You will often find me at a football or basketball game for one of my boys, or hanging out with my husband and our 5 dogs.

Fun Fact:

I also love to do crafty things, like painting windows and building things with wood. I made our Dining Room Table a couple of years ago, and it is still standing!
